Component Solutions Group's Automotive Fastener Division is looking for a Sales Support Specialist who is ready to start an exciting career with an established, entrepreneurial driven company. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, CSG is a, OE tiered supplier of made to print, designed in / engineered fasteners and related components to the automotive and other industries. The Sales Support Specialist serves as a point of contact for existing clients, building customer and company relationships, assisting other departments by organizing new RFQ’s, supplier selection, quality issues, etc. We strive to hire and continually develop, energize and reward talented people who want to grow with the company.   • Operate as the lead point of contact to the customer by providing support and responding to requests and customer inquiries.

  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products according to customer needs.

  • Maintain databases with current and accurate customer information.

  • Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.

  • Work in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.

  • Attend tradeshows and customer sales meetings as requested.

This role is responsible for providing the necessary planning, communication, and coordination of efforts to ensure that customers are successfully managed and have the continued satisfaction they are used to from our company. We are looking for a candidate with the following experience.

  • Experience working within an industrial manufacturing distribution company is preferred but not required.

  • Previous experience in customer service, account management, inside/outside sales or product support position is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to read and interpret 2d prints is a plus.

  • Ability to learn technical product information and transfer knowledge to customers.

  • Direct telephone selling experience is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Experience in Sage 50 is a plus
