In order to execute on this plan Perlane obtained their ISO 9001 certification and added North American Engineering Sales (NAES) to its group who is AS 9210 certified and has been supplying fasteners and fastening systems to the government, defense aviation, and electronics manufacturing sectors since 1978.
This industry however has a great deal of players who are large aviation suppliers that offer a broad range of specialized products that have been designed over the years. So to compete and grow market share with aerospace giants such as Northrop Grumman, Sikorsky, Spirit Aerosystems, and Lockheed Martin, Perlane and NAES sought out and obtained the FAA AC 00-56B accreditation in 2020 . This is a huge accomplishment which now puts Perlane on the ASA list of Companies that are a part of the Voluntary Distributors Accreditation Program and compliant to AC 00-56B which can be found at http://www.aviationsuppliers.org/FAA-AC-00-56B.
